2006: A Year In Review
* Melissa begins her fourth and final year at University of California - San Diego. She is an economics/math major. She is torn between the idea of working and living for awhile back east and staying here in California after graduation. This year she was the Vice President of Chi Gamma Phi, her service sorority.
* Matt begins his junior year in high school. He was injured during a soccer tournament in August and pulled a groin muscle as well as a tore his hip flexor muscle. No sports for awhile so he technically had more time to do homework. Junior year brings the heaviest courseload in high school plus a lot of college entrance exams.
* Karen developed walking pneumonia in July (who gets pneumonia when it's well over 100 degrees outside???) and was sick for 3 weeks. She still is a coordinator for the local tennis organization and plays as much as her body and work will allow!
* Mike's business moved in November to larger quarters closer to home. We are still unpacking boxes! As of the end of this year, hopefully the purchase of his partner's involvement in EETS, Inc. will be done.
* 2007 will bring a lot of changes. In January, hopefully all the paperwork will be done and Mike will own EETS, Inc. In spring Matt begins his college tours. In June, Melissa graduates from UCSD. And somewhere in there, the family wants to visit Cindy and Kevin in Minneapolis when they welcome baby Mia in spring and visit JoAnn and Bill in South Carolina plus relatives in Chicago!!!!
MAY EVERYONE HAVE A HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!
